My practice has included substantial work in professional tribunals.

I have appeared in front of a number of different professional tribunals, including the General Medical Council (GMC), police tribunals and other health professional tribunals. I also have significant experience with the associated appeal and review proceedings which frequently occur as a result of the tribunal process.

I have completed the Public Access course, and also have considerable experience of Direct Access work. I appeared in the very first Direct Access case before the police disciplinary tribunal.

I represented a police officer both in criminal proceedings and the associated disciplinary proceedings in a case where the officer’s force had investigated him in a sting operation. The officer had allegedly stolen money in an unmarked police car, which was filmed on CCTV. The officer was acquitted in respect of both that matter and a related Misconduct in Public Office charge.

Due to my significant experience in the area of professional tribunal cases, together with the often accompanying criminal elements to these matters, I am in a strong position to provide top-level representation and first-class advice to you if you are facing potential disciplinary action or a professional tribunal.

Because of the complexity often involved in professional tribunals and their related issues, it is very important to get quality legal advice as soon as possible. If you have a professional tribunal matter to discuss or need support, advice and even representation, I am able and willing to help you today.
